Full Description

The ditch was largely truncated by another ditch, but the remaining portion measured 0.80m long, 1.10m wide and 0.33m deep. It was aligned northeast–southeast and filled by a firm, mid greyish brown sandy silt. The only find was a large fragment of lower rotary quern stone. The quern is of millstone grit and of probable late Iron Age or Roman date.

Fill of feature interpreted as natural silting within the feature.
