Full Description

The ditch lay towards the south of the trench, it was bound on either side by plough furrows. The ditch crossed the trench on a north-east to south-west alignment. The ditch had steep concaving sides leading to a rounded base and was filled by primary and secondary silting.

To the south of the ditch, a small, shallow circular posthole was identified and excavated. It was 0.31m in diameter and 80mm deep, and was filled by naturally derived clayey silt.
