Full Description

A number of responses have been recorded towards the north of site. These are considered to have a possible archaeological origin, consisting of discrete clusters of higher magnitude responses. These anomalies may be either pit like features or in filled ditches. However, the nature of these features is unclear, and could represent smaller areas of extraction or areas of disturbance. The spread of these responses could reflect the possibility that magnetic material has been distributed due to repeated ploughing.
