Full Description

One positive anomaly of a possible archaeological origin has been identified. This could form part of a field boundary or enclosure. However, it is aligned with the modern agricultural activity on site therefore a more modern resolve cannot be ruled out.

Discrete positive anomalies possibly represent pit features. However, these are somewhat isolated and are difficult to interpret on the basis of form alone. The two larger positive anomalies along the road side are more likely to resolve as archaeological features and could form features such as quarry or rubbish pits.
