Full Description

One evaluation trench contained three ditches.

The first ditch measured 0.55m wide and 0.44m deep and formed part of the enclosure upon which the trench was targeted. It contained one naturally formed clay fill and contained no fills. The ditch was cut by an internal ditch which measured 0.4m wide and 0.18m deep and also contained no finds.

The second ditch measured 0.9m wide by 0.44m deep and is a continuation of the enclosure ditch.

The north end of the evaluation trench contained a 0.98m wide, 0.19m deep ditch with a sinle, naturally silted fill. It produced no dating evidence.
