Full Description

Three evaluation trenches contained ditches related to the 18th-20th century field boundaries that were cut across the trench.

One ditch measured 1.10m wide by 0.29m deep; another ditch measured 0.44m wide by 0.16m deep; and the last ditch measured 0.93m wide by 0.31m deep.

The last two ditches appear to be part of the same field boundary and were filled with a greyish brown clayey sand that produced no dating evidence. The first ditch was filled with a dark grey brown silty clay and produced no dating evidence.
