Full Description

Confirmed archaeological features (pits) of uncertain date or function were identified in the northern part of one trench, the centre of another trench and towards the southern extent of a third trench. These features form a tentative east to west alignment and may require further attention in advance of aggregates extraction.

Further discrete pit features identified in two trenches may indicate features not conducive to identification using magnetic geophysical prospection techniques.
