Full Description

In the eastern section: an earthwork visible as a very obvious ditch and running parallel to the western section. Two profile sections gave measurements of 71.9m OD (inner), 70.85m (base of ditch), 72.04m (outer) and 72.18m (inner), 71.27m (base of ditch), 72.26m (outer). This shows the eastern ditch along the length of the section is approximately 1-1.1m deep at present. This section is much deeper and more obvious than all other earthwork sections and may suggest the ditch has been recut for field drainage.

In the southern section: earthworks are very slight in this section but a shallow depression in the trees may hint at the alignment.
