Full Description

One survey area is dominated by strong magnetic fields from extensive spreads of debris, perhaps related to construction of the adjacent motorway. Amongst these are a group of features that warrant closer attention. They are a scatter of strong anomalies from single large objects or structures ranging from about 5m to 8m in length (anomaly size; the objects could be smaller) and normally elongated. They may be quite deeply buried and have a strong dipolar form which could suggest ferrous objects. What these are is a mystery, however, large steel objects or perhaps large fired structures like kilns might be a possibility.
