Full Description

Morph: 192.22.1 enclosure. (1)

A double-ditch feature, accompanied by evidence of a possible bank, has been identified in the centre of the site. This is associated with an enclosure recorded from aerial photographs as dating from the Bronze Age – Roman period. A series of linear ditch features overlap the larger archaeological ditch on a different orientation. This suggests a second phase of activity, although it is not possible to comment on the date from the survey data alone. (2)
