Full Description

Within the southwest of the Site, a broadly east-west oriented linear anomaly has been interpreted as possible archaeology, mainly due to the lack of corroborative evidence. The response is extremely likely to be a former field boundary which predates the first available mapping of the area from 1844. This anomaly is also located just to the north of the medieval/post-medieval shrunken village at Skegby (M18130) and could be associated with this.
