Full Description

Linear and curvilinear trends plus pit-like responses have been detected across the magnetic data which have been assigned to the category of Uncertain. They generally lack the defined morphology of anomalies that would ordinarily warrant an archaeological interpretation. The majority of the responses are probably due to underlying natural variations or agricultural processes. However, archaeological origins cannot be completed discounted for some of the uncertain responses in three areas due to their proximity with archaeological anomalies.

In three areas, three linear responses have been plotted which have been interpreted as conjectural boundaries. While they don’t appear on available historic mapping, they have a similar magnetic signature to the corroborated boundaries
