Full Description

Probably part of an enclosure or small field with a double ditched linear feature leading from it (trackway). (1)
Morph: 96.20.1 ditch, 96.21.1 enclosure. (2)
See L 5057 - cropmarks to SE. See SMR map.

The visible cropmarks are unlikely to be the remnants of a Romano-British "brickwork" field system, given the 19th c. CBM recorded from two separate ditch slots. (3)

Linear feature seen as cropmarks closely corresponds with one of the boundaries depicted on the 1840 OS map and could be associated with this (4)

The results of a geophysical survey over this area did not reveal any definite evidence for surviving buried archaeological remains (4)
