Trial trenching ahead of housing development. Only two archaeological features were discovered in the evaluation. Both were contained within a relatively restricted area towards the north-western part of the site, in Trenches 7 and 9. These features comprised north/north-east to south/south-west aligned ditches [0701] and [0903]. Based on their similar alignments and proximity these features may have been parts of the same ditch, however this is uncertain. No dating evidence was recovered from either feature and, therefore, both remain undated.
