Abstract/Summary

An archaeological fieldwalking survey was carried out on land to the north of Gateford Park, Gateford, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, on behalf of Land Improvement Holdings Ltd. The fieldwalking survey revealed a very low density scatter of worked flint, a very low level of post-medieval pottery was observed across the survey area. These are likely to have resulted from manuring spreads being added to the fields.
