Abstract/Summary
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 13 hectares of grassland. The survey has not identified any features of probable archaeological origin. A number of linear anomalies are of possible archaeological origin, though their exact origin cannot be determined with any degree of confidence. Former field boundaries and evidence of ridge and furrow indicate the site has an agricultural past. The remaining features are natural or modern and include a footpath, areas of scattered magnetic debris, an area of made ground related to the dismantled railway, and magnetic disturbance from nearby ferrous objects.
