Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation, consisting of trial trenching, was undertaken on land to the north of the Gateford Toll Bar, Worksop, Nottinghamshire. The trial trenching included the excavation and recording of 8x 30m by 2m trenches. The trial trenching took place between the 27th and 29th September 2023.
There were no dateable archaeological features noted, although four ditches of unknown date were recorded.
