Summary

A possible Romano-British / pre-medieval field system was identified during a geophysical survey, consisting of rectilinear anomalies likely to be former cut features. The site is located on a south facing valley slope of the Dumbles stream, this topography is likely to have been attractive to later prehistoric and Romano-British communities, Prehistoric flints have been discovered in this valley. Evidence of ridge and furrow farming is present close to this site, and 2 linear features were also identified during the survey
