Full Description
Large circular depression or crater was found measuring just over 3m in diameter and to a depth of 0.8m. It was connected to the trench network by a narrow trench to the north and is likely to represent a bombing pit. These were constructed to enable defenders to drive the enemy from a captured front line by throwing grenades.
