Full Description

The eastern side of a ditch was truncated by a second ditch, 1.50m wide ditch, 0.38m deep with moderately steep concave sides, a sharp break of slope and a flat base. It was filled a compact mid brown silt from which four sherds of 13th – 15th century pottery, and a single fragment of animal bone were recovered. The bone was of indeterminate species and element.
