Full Description

Two gullies appeared to form an easterly annexe to the enclosure. The gullies, each 0.9-1m wide but only 0.15m deep, lay at right angles to each other and mirrored the alignment of the two excavated elements of the enclosure. The western of the two features contained two fragments of grey ware pottery of probable 3rd or 4th century date, their relationship to an enclosure suggests they acted as an annexe to it.

A further large (2.4m in diameter) but shallow (0.2m) pit lay outside the eastern gully, and this contained no finds.
