Abstract/Summary

A watching brief … Stripping of a large easement on the low ground to the NW of the village for the treatment plant (Area 01) and an access route from the main road (02). There were also three major areas of pipe trenching: from the treatment works to the main street (03; through a field containing possible earthworks immediately to the rear of the existing village houses), along the main street (04), and a short stretch leading north from the main street, at the east end of the village (05). A lack of features in areas 01 & 02. (1)
