Full Description

Farm buildings. (1)

Bulcote Farm was completed in 1904 to the designs of Arthur Brown, Borough Engineer to the Nottingham Corporation, to help dispose of sewage from the city. As such it may be viewed as much as a development in the sanitary provision of British cities as a development in model farms. The position of the farm itself is related to the post-enclosure field pattern established on former medieval meadow, as well as to a now redundant road system. (2)
