Full Description

A deposit of clay could have been a floor surface and two straight sided cut features in the northern part of the trench might have been beam slots. Feature (115) was a roughly V-shaped ditch and earlier than one of the beam slots, which cuts it. Roman artefacts were recovered from the fills of the beam slots and other contexts within the trench.
