Full Description

The ditch, the southernmost feature, was 0.87m wide and 0.16m deep, with gently sloped sides and a concave base, and contained a single sterile fill of dark grey brown silty sand. The feature appeared to continue to the east through a further trench.

Runs parallel to another east-west running ditch.

It is possible that the two ditches in Trench 6 form a partial trackway or represent part of a wider field system such as the Romano-British brickwork field system immediately to the east of the site.
